Carmen Miranda

The image produced by 20th Century Fox films ended up creating an inconvenience for Carmen: she realized she would be imprisoned image of "Latin Girl" forever. As hired Fox, Carmen was a gold mine for the company, she had to force a Latin accent ridiculous, even speaking English perfectly. Among the films, the ones that stand out are the One Night in Rio (1941), Springtime in the Rockies (1942), Between Brunette and Blonde (The Gang's All Here, 1943) and Serenade Bohemia (Greenwich Village; 1944)
